About Hammam Baths Thessaloniki at the Makedonia Palace
The hammam is part of the Makedonia Palace, a 276-room hotel on the Thessaloniki waterfront promenade. The hotel opened on 26 October 1971, on a 10,000-square-meter plot the OTE provident fund bought in 1960, and in 1974 Prime Minister Constantine Karamanlis gave a speech from one of its 4th-floor balconies. A full renovation began in 2016. Besides the steam room there's a private hammam that you can book for your own party, and the Thessaloniki menu runs to a Japanese head-and-toe ritual with a Gua Sha massage by Sothys.
