Kallithea Beach (Kassandra)
A sandy beach edged with pine trees below the resort village of Kallithea on the east coast of Kassandra; the name means "beautiful view", for the view across to Sithonia. On the coast at Kallithea lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Zeus Ammon, where a Doric temple was built in the second half of the 4th century BC.
