About Krinides Mud Baths
The operator describes the site as a laboratory of nature where the clay formed and matured over tens of thousands of years, and the treatment uses this mature clay, either by sinking the whole body into it or by spreading it on. Inside the restored post-Byzantine bath, the indoor pool measures 2.30 by 2.40 metres and has water sprinklers. The centre says its hydrotherapy is used for rheumatoid arthritis, hip and knee osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia.
