Thermes Chevalley
The public pool area of the Thermes Chevalley, the cure centre on the slopes above Aix-les-Bains, with an indoor pool of naturally warm thermal water at 34 °C and an outdoor thermal pool. The water comes partly from the Chevalley borehole, 2,200 m deep, where it rises at 71 °C.

- Underground car park on three levels at the baths; the only published rates are for cure guests (11 EUR a week).
- Public transport
- Bus line 3 (Ondéa network), or a walk of about 300 m from the town centre. Aix-les-Bains station has trains from Lyon (1 hour) and TGV from Paris (3 hours).

- Swimsuit required throughout; swim shorts and bermudas not allowed. Swim cap required in the Aqua-détente area. Non-slip sandals required around the building.

About Thermes Chevalley
The Thermes Chevalley took over part of the treatments from the Thermes Nationaux in the town centre, whose old buildings the regional heritage inventory records as being restructured for a new use. Besides the Chevalley borehole, the baths draw on the Reine Hortense borehole, 1,100 m deep, where the water comes up at 38 °C. The operator says these calcium bicarbonate waters, with sulphates and sulphur, have been used since Roman times, and its phlebology cure, for leg veins and circulation, is offered in Aix only here.
