Connemara Seaweed Baths
Seaweed baths on Market Street in Clifden, where seaweed hand-cut each day goes into a bath of boiling salt water that you cool to your own temperature. A visit starts in the steam room and ends with a plunge in an outdoor saltwater pool; a thermal suite with a sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi overlooks Clifden Harbour.

About Connemara Seaweed Baths
The operator calls the full visit the Bath House Ritual: two to five minutes in the steam room while the bath is drawn, 30 to 45 minutes in the bath, then a quick dip in the outdoor saltwater plunge pool. It says the salt water is what releases the minerals in the seaweed, and calls these the only saltwater seaweed baths in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon.
