A public sauna run by Blackrock Cottage on the Salthill Promenade in Galway, beside the Blackrock diving tower. Guests book a seat in a 50-minute session, with silent, gentle-heat and weekly women-only sessions on the schedule.

- Swimwear must be worn in the sauna and in all shared areas; nudity is not permitted except at advertised private clothing-optional events. Sit on a clean towel (operator).

About Blackrock Sauna
The Blackrock bathing shelter and its diving tower stand at the western end of Salthill Promenade. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage dates the shelter to about 1950: an L-shaped concrete building with a rendered canopy on metal columns over bench seats, set on a natural rock outcrop, with poured concrete steps and walkways down to the water.
