About Balneario de Panticosa (Termas de Tiberio)
Turismo de Aragón says that between the late 19th and early 20th centuries Panticosa grew into one of the largest spas in Spain. The Tiberio spring supplies every building in the complex; its water is classed as very alkaline and soft, with fluoride, sulphur and sodium bicarbonate, and it has been used to make pharmacy creams. Termas de Tiberio was designed with soft, rounded forms to sit into its mountain setting, and walkways link it to the Hotel Continental. In summer there are walks along the Ibón de Baños, and in winter the resort's cross-country ski circuit runs beside a lake ringed by peaks of 3,000 metres.
