About Banys Termals El Safareig
The provincial heritage inventory calls this the Santa Esperança wash-house, after the stream nearby, and its stone washing slab, about 20 m long, follows the line of the stream wall it backs onto. Unlike the town's other wash-houses, it could be used from one side only. Four pillars standing on the slab carry the nearly flat roof, and a row of round arches on the south-west side lets in the light. The spring water runs out at about 48 °C.
