Terme Snovik
Terme Snovik in the Tuhinj valley takes its thermal water, rich in calcium and magnesium, from a spring 1.5 km away; it is officially recognised as a natural healing remedy and is fit to drink. The covered pool hall has a 25 by 25 metre recreation pool at 32 °C with a current channel, and in summer an outdoor pool adds an 82-metre slide.

About Terme Snovik
Long before the spa, locals walked to the water running freely at the Kovač farm and carried it home to drink and wash with. Seventeen test boreholes between 1953 and 1990 found a spring at a steady 30.6 °C, flowing at 14 litres a second, and the first pilot pool opened on 25 August 1994. The covered pool complex opened on 25 January 2002 at minus ten degrees, with plenty of snow on the ground. The operator calls it the highest-lying spa in Slovenia, with the Kamnik-Savinja Alps on one side and the forests of the Tuhinj valley on the other.
