Thermal Corvinus

Thermal Corvinus draws geothermal water from two boreholes up to 1,791 metres deep, where it comes up at 56 and 72 °C. Seven of its pools stay open all year, including a 550-square-metre seated pool at 36 to 38 °C that is only one-third roofed, so bathers can sit outside in winter.

About Thermal Corvinus

The two boreholes are 327 metres apart, and their water differs a little: both give sodium bicarbonate water, with 1,098 and 798 mg of minerals per litre, and the operator points to its fluoride and silicic acid. In the half-covered seated pool, with seats running all the way round the edge, the roofed third opens to the outdoor part through a gap in the wall. The sauna world has a salt chamber with one wall built of natural blocks of salt, and an ice fall. It also offers Garra rufa fish pedicures, which the operator calls the first on Žitný ostrov.
