About Terme Ždrelo
Passing up through colder layers of rock, the water cools on its way and reaches the surface at a steady 40 °C in summer and winter alike. It's only lightly mineralised, under a gram of dissolved solids per litre, mostly calcium, magnesium and sodium with bicarbonate. Besides the thermal pools there's a separate salt-water pool, and medicinal mud in summer. The wellness centre on the first floor is styled after Rome and Byzantium, and the etno restaurant cooks lamb and pogača under the sač on a big open hearth, with rakija and wine from the Milojević family cellar.
