Mineraltherme Böblingen
A thermal bath on the edge of Böblingen with its own spring: fluoride sodium-chloride thermal water from 775 m down fills five pools at 32 to 36 °C, among them a large indoor pool under a domed hall. The ticket includes a classic sauna area with four saunas and two steam baths; a sauna garden with seven more saunas, including a sea-climate salt-mist sauna, costs extra.

- S-Bahn S1 to Goldberg, then about 10 minutes on a signposted footpath; buses 721 (Böblingen) and 708 (Sindelfingen, via Goldberg) stop at the bath

About Mineraltherme Böblingen
Free technical tours of about an hour, for up to 20 people, show where the thermal water comes from, how it is kept clean for bathing and how the automatic sauna infusions work. On Klavier und Kaffee afternoons piano music fills the hall while you lie in the water, at no extra charge. Guided ice baths at 0 to 4 °C last about two minutes and start with breathing exercises. In the sauna garden's earth sauna you sit looking into a fire.
