Das Leuze (Mineralbad Leuze)
A combined indoor and outdoor thermal bath on the Neckar with nine pools and nearly 1,800 m² of water, designed as a whole artwork by Otto Herbert Hajek. Two state-recognised healing springs and a third mineral spring feed the pools, including chlorine-free, untreated mineral-water pools at 20 °C, and the sauna area covers 3,300 m² with twelve sweat rooms.

About Das Leuze (Mineralbad Leuze)
Otto Herbert Hajek called his design for the whole bath 'Roman Memory', after the Roman baths that partly served as his model, and worked on it from 1979 to 1983 in steel, natural stone and paint. Two steel sculptures up to 7 metres tall mark the entrance, beside an 8 metre concrete Leuze sign picked out in gold. Each pool names its spring: the warm leisure pools run on the Mombachquelle, the sitting pool on the Leuzequelle, and the chlorine-free pools on the Inselquelle, which leaves the ground at 20.9 °C carrying 2.1 g of carbon dioxide per litre. On the Winzer-Sauna side, a panorama sauna looks onto vineyards, next to a kettle sauna and a snow room.
