About Community Sauna Baths Camberwell
The site is laid out on two levels inside Ruskin Park. Reception, a toilet and a fire circle for sitting before or after a session are on the lower level, and a seven-metre ramp leads up to the saunas, showers and changing rooms. King's College Hospital is next door, so now and then an air ambulance helicopter lands or takes off while people sit in the heat. A yurt beside the saunas is used for massage and other treatments, and the operator suggests coming at sunset for the view from the sauna.
