About Braan Sauna at The Taybank
The Taybank was built on land reclaimed when Telford's bridge went up in 1809, and it served as a bank and a temperance hotel before turning into a live music bar. You check in at the downstairs bar, where someone from the team shows you the way along a trail of festoon lights. There's no bar at the sauna, so drinks are bought on the way through. The fire should be lit when you arrive, but you may need to feed the stove a log or two from the wood store. The sauna is set up from October until the end of March.
