Thermal baths in Termal

Wooded hills about 10 km south-west of Yalova and its ferry port on the Sea of Marmara hold Termal, a small district town in Yalova province. Yalova Termal Kaplıcaları gathers its baths in one park, including an open-air thermal pool and the Kurşunlu bath with its own pool and sauna.

Thermal bath, Termal · Massage and scrub cost extra. The operator lists conditions where spa bathing is not advised, including fever, pregnancy, heart disease and infectious illness.

The open-air pool, 22 m long and 1.65 m deep and built in a shape the operator compares to Napoleon's hat, is filled entirely with the site's calcium, sulphate and fluoride thermal water; the operator calls it Türkiye's first registered swimming pool.
