Thermal baths in the Tatras
Geothermal pools on both sides of the Tatras: in Zakopane and the Podhale villages of Chochołów, Szaflary, Bukowina Tatrzańska and Białka Tatrzańska on the Polish side, and in Slovakia at Bešeňová, 11 km from Ružomberok, and Tatralandia, 3 km from Liptovský Mikuláš. Each Polish bath has sulphurous water, from about 30 °C in Zakopane's indoor pool to 38 to 40 °C in the Siarcane Koloseum at Termy Gorący Potok. The sauna zones are textile-free at most of them, and Terma Bania's Saunarium lets you choose swimwear, a towel or nothing.
