Terma Bania

A thermal water park in Białka Tatrzańska with 15 pools and 2,400 m² of water in three zones, its pools filled with thermal water at 34 to 38 °C and outdoor pools facing the High Tatras. Two tubs hold raw sulphur geothermal water at 37 °C, and the 1,000 m² Saunarium has a brine pool, a Russian bania and a naturist sun area.

Swimwear and rules
The Saunarium (16+) may be crossed in swimwear, a towel or pareo, or naked; dry saunas are used naked on a towel or pareo, wet saunas naked or in a towel, and swimwear users must expect others to be naked. The Finnish and herbal saunas in the relaxation zone are swimwear saunas.

About Terma Bania

The water is drawn from 2,500 m, where it starts at 78 °C, and gives up part of its heat before it reaches the pools; it carries sulphides, silica, potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron, and is slightly acidic. The idea for the complex dates from 2006, and it was set into the natural lie of the land, built of stone and wood mostly found in Podhale, with highlander folk motifs mixed into a modern design. The project, part-funded by the EU's regional development fund, ran from 2009 to 2011, and the slides add up to more than 300 m.
