Thermal baths in Rimske Toplice

Rimske Toplice lies in the Savinja valley in Laško municipality, about 5 km south-west of Laško and 14 km south of Celje, and has its own railway station. Rimske Terme admits guests from age 14, with Roman-styled indoor and outdoor thermal pools and a row of massage pools with water loungers.

    The operator dates the spa's written record to the Aquileia charter of 1486 and its growth to 1840, when the Trieste merchant Gustav Adolf Uhlich bought it; the thermal water rises at 38 to 39 °C.
