Thermal baths in Valkenburg aan de Geul

Valkenburg is in the Geul valley of South Limburg, the hilly south-east corner of the Netherlands, about 10 km east of Maastricht. Thermae 2000 stands on the Cauberg hill above the town, with baths from its own mineral spring and a sauna area that's textile-free except on Tuesday swimwear days. At the foot of the Cauberg, the Gemeentegrot cave runs tours through its quarry tunnels on foot or by train.
