About QC Terme Pré-Saint-Didier

The water rises in a grotto at the foot of the Orrido, the deep, narrow gorge the Dora di Verney has cut just above its meeting with the Dora Baltea. The Romans knew the springs, but visitors came in numbers only from the 17th century. The bathhouse dates from 1834 and reopened after thirty years shut. The tourist board lists silicon, arsenic acids, iron oxides and calcium carbonates among the mineral salts in the water.
