La Pelosa
A beach of white, fine sand at Sardinia's north-west tip, about 3.5 km from Stintino, with the Torre della Pelosa, built in 1578, on a rocky islet just offshore. To protect the sand, the Comune di Stintino caps visitors in summer and requires a mat under every towel.
