Sólás na Mara

A family-run seaweed bathhouse on Helvick pier at An Rinn in the Waterford Gaeltacht, opened in 2013 in a former fishermen's co-operative building. Each private room has its own bathtub filled with heated sea water from Dungarvan Bay and seaweed gathered at low tide, mostly serrated wrack, plus a hand-made steam box.
