Heydalur: greenhouse pool and hot pots
These are the pools of the country hotel at Heydalur in the Westfjords, and non-guests can pay to use them: a swimming pool and hot tub in a greenhouse made from an old sheep shed, two outdoor tubs and a natural hot spring across the river. The spring is said to have been blessed by Bishop Guðmundur the Good in the 12th century.
