About Anna Gyógy-, Termál- és Élményfürdő (Anna Bath)
The white-walled bath on Tisza Lajos körút was designed by Antal Steinhardt and Adolf Lang in an eclectic style with Oriental touches, and it was built in 1896 as the city's public bath. It takes its name from the artesian well drilled beside it in 1927: Dezső Patzauer, who first bottled the water, had a daughter called Anna. People in Szeged regularly fill bottles at the Anna well to drink at home, and the city's tourist office says the water is used as a drinking cure for digestive complaints.
