Gellért Thermal Bath
Gellért opened in 1918 at the foot of Gellért Hill, a Secession building under a baroque dome. Its thermal halls are decorated with Zsolnay ceramics and mosaics, the swimming pool is ringed by columns carved with fish and mythical creatures under a roof that opens, and the operator calls the outdoor wave pool, added in 1927, the world's first.
