Kaifu-Sole
A brine spa in a second wing of the Kaifu-Bad in Eimsbüttel, which the operator calls Hamburg's oldest swimming bath at over 120 years old; the spa was restored in 2016. Its 17 by 11 m floating pool holds 6 % brine at 32 °C, made with rock salt from the Sülbeck natural brine, beside a salt sauna, a steam bath, a graduation tower and a 265 m² roof terrace.

AccessFriday to Sunday, Kaifu-Sole tickets are sold only at the till on site. The stair lift at the Kaifubad entrance is out of order.

About Kaifu-Sole
While you float, soft sounds play and the lights change over the water. The graduation tower is a wooden frame filled with bundles of brushwood: salt water trickles down through it, evaporates and spreads fine brine droplets around it. The salt sauna is lined with Himalayan salt stones under reddish light, and there's a fireplace room for resting between rounds.
