Thermal baths in Aachen

Aachen is in the far west of Germany, where it meets Belgium and the Netherlands, about 65 km west of Cologne. Carolus Thermen Bad Aachen draws on the city's own hot springs, with swimwear in the pools and a nude sauna area. About 1.5 km south-west are the cathedral and the Elisenbrunnen, a colonnaded hall where the warm spring water runs from fountains.
