Thermal baths in Le Monêtier-les-Bains

At the upper end of the Serre Chevalier valley, Le Monêtier-les-Bains is about 14 km north-west of Briançon on the road up to the Col du Lautaret. Les Grands Bains du Monêtier run the village's hot spring into indoor and outdoor pools, with a Roman-style circuit of hot and cold rooms. At the top of the pass, about 10 km north-west, the Jardin du Lautaret grows mountain plants from around the world through the summer.
