About Narodne kupke Lipik
The water is a fluoride, sodium hydrogen carbonate and chloride water, measured at 60.4 °C in a 2010 analysis. In 1839 Dr D. Wagner found it held a large amount of iodine, and in 1862 the Vienna professor I. Seegen wrote that Europe had no other iodine baths like these but that the facilities fell short of them. Between 1886 and 1893 the spa added Roman, marble and salon baths, a covered promenade and the domed Kursalon, which was set on fire in the war of 1991 and 1992.
