KärntenTherme
Six springs in the Warmbad-Villach resort deliver 10 to 17 million litres of thermal water a day at 25 to 29 °C, and it fills the bath's thermal pools. The building by Graz architect Titus Pernthaler stacks the bath on four levels, with the 25-metre sports pool raised to the second level.

- Usual swimwear (trunks, swimsuit, bikini) in the wet area, also for small children; babies need waterproof swim nappies. The sauna rooms are textile-free, on a towel large enough for the whole body.

About KärntenTherme
The historic Warmbad Villach became the KärntenTherme, and a bathrobe corridor ending in the slide tower links it to its sister, the Thermenhotel Karawankenhof, also by Pernthaler's team. He says the architecture quotes the nature around Warmbad and the local mountain, the Dobratsch: the facade is meant to recall rippling water, the garden side a craggy landscape, and two tall spaces inside are called the gorge and the ladder to heaven. Paintings, sculptures and photomontages by artists including Kiki Kogelnik, Hans Staudacher and Fritz Russ are on show in the building, on the theme of the Dobratsch and the history of the Warmbad.
