Thermal baths in Köflach

Köflach is a town in West Styria, about 27 km west of Graz, with S-Bahn trains from the city. Therme NOVA has thermal pools fed from a deep spring in Piber and saunas on its roof. The Piber stud, where the Lipizzaner horses of Vienna's Spanish Riding School are bred, is a few kilometres away.

    Opened in 2004, the therme draws its water from the Barbara spring in Piber, drilled to 1,039 metres, and keeps its six thermal pools at 33 to 34.5 °C.
