About Römertherme Baden
Building started in 1997 and the bath opened on 27 November 1999 under a glass roof 77 by 33 metres, which the Lower Austrian government calls the largest fully air-conditioned free-hanging glass roof in Europe. Baden's sulphur water rises from about 1,000 metres down at up to 36 °C, and the town has 15 captured springs. The sauna has a stone pine outdoor sauna and three steam rooms side by side: a Roman steam bath with aroma, a eucalyptus one and a brine one.
