- The tourism authority describes access as easy. The bay is prone to strong currents when the wind is from the north-west; a red flag means bathing is limited to shallow water. The Malta Tourism Authority runs beach management with daily lifeguards from 15 June to 15 September.
- Parking
- Parking at the bay.
- Public transport
- Routes 44 (from Valletta), 223 (from Buġibba), 225 (from Sliema) and 101 (Ċirkewwa to Ġnejna) stop at Għajn Tuffieħa - Tuffieħa (stop 1123), about 200 m from the beach.
