Swimming in Cefalù

Cefalù faces the Tyrrhenian Sea on Sicily's north coast, about 60 km east of Palermo. Its town beach is a long strip of sand on the seafront, running west from the old town and the old harbour. Behind the town, a stone path climbs La Rocca, the headland you see from the beach, past the Temple of Diana to views along the coast.
