Ouranoupoli is a village on the Athos peninsula of Halkidiki, at the edge of the monastic lands of Mount Athos, about 94 km south-east of Thessaloniki. Its sandy beach runs along the village front and north towards the harbour of Tripiti. Boat cruises leave from the village and sail along the coast of the Athos peninsula.
