Swimming in Ixia

Ixia runs along the north-west coast of Rhodes from the edge of Rhodes town towards Ialysos, about 10 km from the airport. Ixia Beach is the long shore in front of it, open to the wind off the Aegean. On Filerimos hill, about 5 km south-west, a path lined with stations of the cross leads to a tall cross you can climb for the view.
