Swimming in Agios Matthaios

Agios Matthaios is a village in the south of Corfu, about 15 km south of Corfu Town and 12 km from the airport. The beach listed here is Issos, about 9 km to the south-east on the open west coast, with dunes and Korission lagoon behind it. The lagoon shore and the dunes are good walking for birdwatchers.
