About Mile End Climbing Wall Sauna
The climbing wall the sauna belongs to has been in Mile End Park since the 1980s, in a building that now holds about 1,500 square metres of climbing surface and a training area called the Monkey House. Develop through Challenge, the charity that runs it, puts the money from climbing and sauna sessions back into the centre and into climbing for youth groups and young people with special educational needs. Rock On, an independent climbing shop, has its own space on the site.
