Mineralbad & Spa Samedan
A mineral bath on the main square of Samedan, built against the listed village church, where the bathing ritual climbs five floors of mosaic-tiled pools and steam rooms designed by the architects Miller & Maranta; the operator calls it Switzerland's first vertical mineral bath. The water comes from the operator's own sulphurous spring 35 metres down, and the circuit ends in a rooftop pool beside the church tower with a view of the Engadin mountains.
