About Băile Daco Romane
During building works near the present complex, statuettes and images of Asclepius and Hygieia, the Roman gods of healing and health, came to light, according to the operator. It describes the water as bicarbonated, calcic and magnesian, and slightly carbonated. Beside the Olympic pool and the diving pool there is a children's pool 50 cm deep with a water slide, and a fourth pool that runs from 0.6 to 1.9 m deep.
