Garo Fabrikas
A public steam sauna (viešoji pirtis) on Pušyno kelias in Vilnius, with men's days, a women's morning and mixed days, and a stove built to make soft, fine steam. A sauna master (pirtininkas) offers whisking with leaf brooms, salt rubs and soap-foam washing as extras, and there is a rest area and a bookable VIP room.

About Garo Fabrikas
The stove weighs more than 40 tonnes, and a 10-tonne load of metal plates inside it keeps the heat even across a steam room of more than 50 m², where the benches are wide enough to lie down on. In the anteroom there are stone benches and wooden tubs holding 60 litres of ice-cold water, for tipping over yourself from head to toe. The whisking brooms are hand-tied from oak, and the sauna masters also use scented soaps and sets of aromatic herbs. The VIP room is built around a large marble table, with a TV showing sports channels.
