Thermal baths in Sorano

Sorano is a hill town of the Tuscan Maremma, built on a ridge of tufa in the province of Grosseto, about 8 km north-east of Pitigliano. Terme di Sorano is a thermal park outside the town on the Pitigliano road, with a large outdoor thermal pool and a medieval basin beside it.

    Thermal bath, Sorano · Booking required by phone, email or WhatsApp. Swim cap required in all pools. Sports pool open May to October. In February and March open Friday to Sunday only.

    Thermal park 3 km from Sorano on the Pitigliano road, opened in 2006 after a truffle hunter found the lost spring again in December 2000; the restored medieval parish church stands at its centre.
