About Zalakaros Spa

The covered building let the bath stay open all year, and the indoor section is still called the Fedett (Covered) bath after it. Under its fan-shaped roof are two medicinal pools, and a 2013 refit added a rest area with loungers and a cool pool for easy laps. The spa says the sulphur in the water is used for joint and skin complaints, psoriasis among them. In the sauna world, sauna masters run 12 to 15 minute infusions set to well-known tunes in a Finnish sauna that seats 60.
