About Vulkán Gyógy- és Élményfürdő (Vulkán Thermal Bath)
The water is a soft sodium hydrogen-carbonate chloride water with 6.5 mg of fluoride per liter, and medical treatments with it began in February 2008. The bath says it is used mainly for joint and muscle complaints. The thermal pool is half indoors and half out, 80 m² each side, and the outer half opens in season only. In summer a slide tower shaped like a volcano and painted in lava colors sends four slides down, one of them a three-lane racing slide, and the lookout on top faces the Ság rising beside the bath. The strand also has a hot and cold Kneipp walk.
