About Edipsos Springs Hydrotherapy Center
The springs that feed the center run at 70 to 80 °C. The operator's analysis of the Artemis spring finds mostly sodium chloride, with calcium, potassium, bromine, strontium, fluoride and lithium, plus dissolved carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide, and it flows at 16 m³ an hour. The center also pipes water to 13 private hydrotherapy centers in the region, and a collection of archaeological finds from Edipsos is on show in its reception area. The spa says the water is used for rheumatic complaints, arthritis, sciatica and lower back pain.
