Therme Obernsees

A thermal bath in the Franconian Switzerland on water from the Obernsees well, which a Fresenius report of 1998 rates as medicinal water by its minerals, with a 33 °C meditation pool, a 25 m pool that runs 15 m out into the open and a 90 m tyre slide. A refurbishment begun in 2022 replaced the two outdoor warm-water pools with one stainless-steel pool and added a children's water world and a larger foyer with a Franconian Switzerland visitor centre.

About Therme Obernsees

The 25 m swimming pool runs from the hall out into the open, with 15 m of it under the sky. The cascades have a waterfall and a grotto, and the tyre slide runs through light effects on its way down. In the sauna area the loungers look out over the Truppach valley, there is a salt-stone room and a Kneipp canyon, and a mild sauna at up to 35 °C takes babies from 4 to 18 months who bring a doctor's check-up.
