Keidel Therme (Keidel Mineral-Thermalbad)
Freiburg's municipal thermal bath in the Mooswald forest has drawn mineral thermal water from its own spring for over 40 years, in a 34 °C leisure pool, an outdoor area, a lap pool and a 38 °C spring pool. The textile-free sauna area has nine indoor and outdoor saunas and a natural bathing lake, and its panorama and water-lily sauna opened in 2019.

About Keidel Therme (Keidel Mineral-Thermalbad)
The panorama and water-lily sauna looks like a pavilion standing on one large column in the sauna garden, built of wood and natural stone. In the sauna house's rest room a stove burns in the fireplace room while you look out over the natural bathing lake. The sauna programme includes singing-bowl journeys, smoke ceremonies and the Baltic pirts ritual. Once a month the Keidel im Vollmond evenings bring live music, shows and special infusions, and since 2014 the EHC Freiburg ice hockey team has recovered in the thermal water after training and games.
