About Stadtbad Neukölln
Kiehl planned the bath as one half of a pair, with a public library alongside it. The two halls were first meant to keep men and women apart, their plans borrow from Greek temples and basilicas, and the columns are travertine. The original Russian-Roman bath included a domed room lit from above, with a round plunge pool. The building was extensively renovated in 2009.
