Spessart Therme
A thermal brine bath in the Bad Soden spa quarter, whose pools take state-recognised healing brine from over 500 m deep, from the Fritz-Hamm-Sprudel (1974) and König-Heinrich-Sprudel. The intensive pool holds pure brine with almost 10 % salt at 35 °C, and in summer a wave pool runs outdoors.

About Spessart Therme
The Fritz-Hamm-Sprudel, one of the two wells behind the pools, sits in the Kinzig meadows and gives a brine with about 55 grams of chloride in every litre. Its sister spring, the König-Heinrich-Sprudel, also goes into warm baths and brine packs, and in the spa park its pure brine runs from the König-Heinrich fountain beside the graduation tower, where anyone can bathe hands and arms. Inside, a water curtain screens off the Poseidon temple, and the current channel starts up twice an hour; when it stands still, people swim laps in circles. In summer the outdoor wave pool, the Spessartmeer, starts its waves at ten to every hour.
